This place is supper yummy

Bona is still my favourite restaurant in the campus. Good noodles soup with various meat to choose from and you can alternatively replace pho with mein or rice noodles. Quick and nice services. My recommendation dish is E1, spicy rice noodle soup with beef brisket, pork, tofu and meatballs.

Great food and wonderful service without fail.

None of my order was appetizing. The chicken and vegetables were overcooked as well as the rice. The egg rolls were very greasy and the chicken wings were dry and tough. Also, good customer service was lacking in that the cashier who took my order wasn't friendly or pleasant and she also did another transaction right in the middle of me placing my order. I really hope this is an isolated incident, but, I will not likely return or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We love bona! It's our go to place when we attend Gopher women's basketball games. They have wonderful pho and delicious rice noodles salads. The servers are very friendly.

Got A1 pho (kinda surprised meatball was $2 and I didn’t even get that much). Broth was really sweet and there wasn’t that much condiment/things to put in. have had better pho in St Paul and homemade Egg roll was REALLY good tho

The Pho beef & brisket was really great, the egg rolls weren't all that good. Never got a refill on my soda either. I really love finding a place that makes really good Pho!

Great place to go for lunch as they have an extensive lunch menu and the food comes out super quick. Might not be the best place for pho in the Twin Cities, but when you’re on campus and it’s cold and you have a hankering for some warm soup this is the place to stop.

Food is excellent. Service is quick, funny and pleasant. My water was never below half. Pho is good, with lots of stuff to add on the side. Spring rolls are delightful. Banh mi offered on weekdays is worth finding some time for too.

Although the service can be interesting at times, the food is generally pretty good. Def recommended for Pho and casual asian/vietnamese cuisine.

I just received my Pho order, and found a live ant in the ingredients to add to the Pho. I have pictures and video but google didn’t have an option to add them here. I’ve always enjoyed their food and have never had a problem. Just be aware their kitchen isn’t as sanitary as it looks.

Had hear good things about this place a saw good reviews. But I guess it's proof you can believe everything you hear or read. Order from them for the first time and was extremely disappointed. All the food we ordered lack taste and was extremely blah at best. Egg rolls had little flavor and seemed overly greasy. We also offer 2 orders of the egg rolls and paid for two but only go 1 order. I order shrimp and mixed vegetables. As for the mixed vegetables, they should call it cabbage, carrots and 3 pieces of broccoli. That was about as mixed as it got. Also the sauce was bland and utterly tasteless. And I have no idea what to call their fried rice, if you can even call it fried rice. Was utterly flavorless. I'd been looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant in my area and list was definitely not it so I guess I'll have to keep looking. Tried to call to register a complaint and no one ever even answered. So in the end I would not recommend this place in the least bit.

GREAT food (especially pho) and very friendly/attentive staff.

I'm gluten free and my partner is a pescatarian. We ate here last night and our waiter was super knowledgeable about what we could and couldn't eat. He said they could make most things on the menu gluten free, which is amazing. Not to mention, the food was delicious! I had a beef pho with gluten free broth. My partner had a seafood pho with veggie broth. The soy sauce on the tables is gluten free. Will be returning, I think we found our new spot!

Best Vietnamese restuarant in MN! Tons of flavor, perfect balance of textures and consistency, hands down..No other place compares. Service was fast and friendly. Clean, modern, and comfortable. Many Vegetarian/Vegan options. Minor setback is limited parking, but that's Mpls. I would eat here everyday if I could!*****

I had the Bun Ga (rice noodle salad with chicken). Although it was a great value in terms of amount of food, it didn't quite live up to my expectations for the dish. I've had versions where the grill on the protein is exquisite; here it was only generically stir-fried. I also wish the dish had more contrast in terms of hot/cold temperatures, sourness from pickles, and texture from fresh herbs.

been eating here since the late 80s when they were kind of a humble hole in a wall. authentic vietnamese menu at reasonable prices.

If you're wondering this restaurant is no longer open. They'll still take your money though for online orders, just don't expect any food or a refund.

Pho is awesome. I get the vegan. I have never been able to finish my bowl. The servings are huge.

This pho was phonomenal !! I got extra rice and a big bowl and this was enough food to feed a small family of 4. The service was quick, fast, speedy, agile, swift, lightning, and the overall quality of the place was amazing. 10/10 will go again in the winter
